TPMC
has been a leading contractor supporting environmental restoration of
LANL since 1992. We have performed our work safely and without any lost
work time incidents. TPMC’s scope of services includes environmental
assessments/investigations of 600 individual sites; more than 60 RFIs;
more than 60 remedial action projects; and more than 20 Decontamination
and Decommissioning (D&D) projects.
Department of the Interior (National Park
Service) Environmental Program Support at Big
South Fork National River and Recreation Area
TPMC
completed an environmental compliance audit at Big South Fork National
River and Recreation Area (Big South Fork) and identified a number of
deficiencies in the Park’s environmental program. TPMC developed plans
and programs to assist Big South Fork in formalizing various
environmental programs including Spill Prevention, Control, and
Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan; Pollution Prevention Plan; Emergency
Action Plan/Site Safety and Health Plan; Integrated Solid Waste
Alternative Program (ISWAP), as well as other documents and plans.

Installation-wide Environmental Restoration Program
TPMC is the U.S. Army's primary
contractor for an installation-wide restoration program at this 22,000
acre BRAC installation. TPMC has been responsible for assisting the
U.S. Army in development of a cleanup strategy and negotiating with the
New Mexico Environmental Department (NMED). Our work has focused on
technical justification for reducing the requirements proposed by NMED,
cost-effective strategies for execution of the work and defining and
reducing risk on lands to be transferred involving former OB/OD
operations and UXO; PCB, pesticide, asbestos, radon, and lead
contamination; threatened and endangered species; wetlands and
sensitive habitats; 520 prehistoric and historic sites associated with
the Archaic, Anasazi, and Navajo periods.
