TerranearPMC, LLC (TPMC) was formed in 2004 as a certified U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) firm. The company was the result of the merger of PMC Technologies, established in 1989 (a union of PMC Environmental and the federal division of ERM), and Terranear Technologies Group, LLC, which was established in 2000. The merger created an opportunity for both companies to grow and to expand their expertise in the environmental services and nuclear and waste management services industries.

In 2005, TPMC entered into a mentor prot�g� agreement with Washington Closure Hanford (WCH) and earned the DOE Small Business Prot�g� of the Year Award for Fiscal Year 2007.

In 2006, TPMC entered into a SBA mentor prot�g� agreement with EnergySolutions, Inc. and successfully expanded our service offerings to include Radiological Services and Waste Management.

We expanded our capabilities again in 2010 with the acquisition of Human Factors Applications, Inc. (HFA), an ordnance and explosives sciences company. The infusion of enhanced munitions and UXO capabilities allowed us to offer additional services to our federal government clients including chemical warfare element remedial and augmented MMRP site investigations, UXO clearance and removal services.

This year, TPMC successfully graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program and celebrated more than 20 years in business. We are strategically positioned to leverage our expertise and the knowledge gained during this last decade working with the SBA and our partner companies.
