Air National Guard Civil Engineering Technical Service Center
participated in a business
case analysis to evaluate efficiencies and methods for continued
improvement through detailed assessment of operational and financial
facets of the center’s performance.
The result was a strategic business
plan that analyzed the organization, operations and the feasibility of
relocating operations of the Service Center based on consultations with
Center executives, internal and external interviews, and a
comprehensive Strengths, Weaknesses Opportunities, Threats (SWOT)
analysis. The plan proved the financial savings of remaining in the
current location, clarified the goals and mission of the Center;
focused the senior staff; and positioned the Center for future short-
and long-term progress.
